Movement classes with purpose. The purpose is to come back to you!

Why Movement?
Heather truly believes that movement can not only help the physical body, but also the mental/emotional bodies. When we work on our body as a whole entity, we need to move beyond just the physical. But, the physical is the first and seen part that we acknowledge, so therefore she starts with the physical to, in turn, open up the other bodies.
Why Breath?
Breath is more than just the air that moves into the nostrils. To breathe is to acknowledge life.
When you move, your breath increases, general knowledge. But, when you increase your breath, you in turn increase your other bodies. Opening up a different mood, different channel and different space to allow more healing.
Why community?
Heather knows that healing happens in community. “We don’t need to be doing the same thing to be in community,” is what she says often in her classes. For students to remember that they have autonomy, even in a yoga class.
When attending one of her classes, you will be greeted with a smile, in hopes that you will feel welcomed. She truly wishes every student to find exactly what they need. She is a trauma-informed teacher, who has a heart. Although not every class will make you feel ‘happy’, every class will help in your journey.

Gentle Hatha with Mindfulness
This is a guided journey inward—a space to reconnect with your body through self-exploration, playfulness, and mindful awareness. In this class, Heather offers a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you’re invited to move freely and authentically, accessing parts of yourself that may have been long forgotten or never explored.
This experience blends a variety of healing modalities to support your mental health, personal growth, and inner healing, including:

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga
Somatic Movement
Dance and Freeform Expression
Energy Work
Guided Meditations
QiGong
Breathwork
Mantras
Journaling
Mudras
Chakra Meditations …and more.
Hatha Yoga and Somatic Movement Class
This class combines traditional Hatha yoga with somatic movement to support balance, strength, and deeper self-awareness. Through breathwork, mindful poses (asanas), and gentle, intuitive movement, you’ll reconnect with your body and nervous system in a nourishing, non-linear way.
We explore both the active and subtle energies of the body—balancing strength and softness, stillness and flow, sun and moon—while allowing space for release, presence, and integration.
Benefits
Improved balance, strength, and flexibility
Enhanced breath awareness and lung function
Reduced stress and nervous system regulation
Deeper connection to the subtle body
Increased mindfulness and present-moment awareness

Restorative Yoga Class

Restorative yoga is a gentle, deeply calming practice designed to relax the body and soothe the nervous system. Postures are held for extended periods and supported with props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks—allowing the body to fully release and the breath to gently connect with the fascia and inner layers.
This practice creates space for stillness, rest, and quiet healing.
Benefits
Deep relaxation and nervous system support
Improved sleep and mood
Reduced pain and tension
Enhanced overall well-being
BRAVE: A Workshop for Survivors of sexual assault/abuse
A space for healing, resilience, and community
This workshop is designed for individuals who have experienced sexual assault or abuse—and for those who wish to support loved ones in their healing journey. No matter where you are in your process, you are welcome here.
Led by Heather, a survivor and dedicated advocate, this workshop offers a safe and supportive environment to explore your strength, process your pain, and connect with others who understand. Heather has carefully crafted this space with healing at its core—drawing from her own lived experience of trauma to help others move forward.
Why this work matters:
According to the National Sexual Violence Resource Center:
1 in 5 women in the U.S. have experienced completed or attempted rape.
1 in 3 female survivors experienced it for the first time between the ages of 11 and 17.
Nearly 1 in 4 men in the U.S. have experienced some form of contact sexual violence.
1 in 4 male survivors first experienced it between ages 11 and 17.
These numbers tell a painful truth—but they also call for action. We must speak openly, without shame or judgment. You are not alone. You are not to blame. And you are not broken.
Heather believes deeply in the power of healing in community—with safety, openness, and compassion at the center. Join us for this two-hour workshop to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
