We’re excited to welcome Ingrid Holding to the Jiaren Yoga Studio teaching community!
Ingrid is a Bay Area native and a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with a longtime personal practice rooted in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. Her approach to yoga is simple and refreshing: yoga doesn’t have to be about achieving perfect poses.
Instead, it can be a way to build strength, move more freely, breathe more deeply, and feel a little more at home in your body.

A Warm and Grounded Approach to Yoga
Ingrid’s teaching style is warm, encouraging, and down-to-earth.
Her classes emphasize mindful movement, thoughtful alignment, and creating space for students to explore their own practice without pressure or comparison.
Whether you are stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or have been practicing for years, Ingrid encourages students to listen to their bodies, stay curious, and find a version of the practice that feels right for them.
Vinyasa Foundations
Tuesdays at 9:30 AM60-minute class at Jiaren Yoga Studio
Vinyasa Foundations is a grounded and accessible yoga class that connects breath with movement while helping students develop strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness.
Throughout the class, Ingrid will guide students through foundational yoga poses and transitions in a thoughtfully paced flow.
Different options will be offered along the way, giving newer students the opportunity to learn the foundations while allowing experienced practitioners to deepen their practice or reconnect with the essentials.
This class is a great fit for anyone who wants to:
• Learn or revisit foundational yoga poses• Improve strength, flexibility, and balance• Develop greater body awareness• Better understand common Vinyasa transitions• Practice moving with the breath• Build a more sustainable and confident yoga practice
A Class for Both Beginners and Experienced Yogis
Sometimes going back to the foundations can be one of the best ways to grow.
For beginners, Vinyasa Foundations offers a welcoming environment to learn without feeling rushed.
For experienced students, it is an opportunity to slow down, refine alignment, reconnect with the breath, and rediscover the details that can sometimes get lost in a faster-paced practice.
At Jiaren Yoga Studio, we believe yoga should be accessible, supportive, and something you can continue to return to throughout different stages of life.
We’re very happy to have Ingrid bring that same philosophy to our community.
Come as you are. Breathe, move, and build your practice from the ground up.
We look forward to seeing you on the mat with Ingrid every Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM at Jiaren Yoga Studio.
